Personal Insurance | How much is enough ?
This question is the most common question asked by clients. Everyone has unique financial needs and objectives they would like to achieve, should they suffer an accident or illness that prevents them from working for an extended period of time or sometimes indefinate it can cause immense stress on the family so making sure you have plans in place is a brillant way to protect your greatest assets.
Below is a very simply outline of four personal insurance options.
- Life Cover - Pays a lump sum upon the death of the insured
- Total & Permanent Disabilty (TPD) : Pays a lump sum payment when the insured in permantely unable to work
- Income Protection: Will pay a replacement income for a period of time. Usually up to age 65/70
- Trauma Cover: Will pay the insured a lump sum payment upon diagnosis of serveral illnesses, cancer, heart attack, stroke, paralysis etc
